Parameters

Index Coin

This currency will be the main currency. Adding and removing balance to your indexes will be done with this currency. The currencies available will all have a direct market with the index coin. Other currencies are filtered out.

Trade Amount

This represent the amount the bot has to trade with, spread over all the currencies in the index.

Current Index Value

This is the value of the whole index at this time.

Template

Type of orders you want this bot to place. Standard limit and market orders are available as well native exchange and custom templates defined in the Order Template Builder.

Individual Coin Growth

Changes the behavior of the index bot to follow the individual coins growth rather than growth within the portfolio.

Allocate Profits

When enabled, the bot will add the profit made from sell orders to the "Total Trade Amount". Any losses incurred won’t be subtracted.

Profit Calculation

Profit is calculated by subtracting the amount the bot has added to the indexes and the amount the bot has removed from the indexes. When the bot starts for the first time, the trades it places to equalize your balance accordingly are not to be used in the profit calculation. The fee will be taken into account.

Rebalance calculation

Individual Growth Disabled

• Examples Total Index Value: 1 BTC.

• ETH/BTC price is 0.1 BTC

• ETH index with 10%

• ETH Buy Threshold of 2%

• ETH Sell Threshold of 7%

Scenario 1 - ETH price raises.

When the total value of the ETH in your wallet grows to >12% of the Trade Amount the bot will sell off a portion to lower your ETH exposure to 10% of the Trade Amount

Scenario 2 - ETH price drops.

When the total value of the ETH in your wallet shrinks to <5% of the Trade Amount the bot will buy extra ETH to equalize your ETH exposure to 10% of the Trade Amount

Individual Growth Enabled

• Examples Total Index Value: 1 BTC.

• ETH/BTC price is 0.1 BTC

• ETH index with 10%

• ETH Buy Threshold of 2%

• ETH Sell Threshold of 7%

Scenario 1 - ETH price raises.

When the ETH price raises >2% the bot will sell off a portion to lower your ETH exposure to 10% of the Trade Amount

Scenario 2 - ETH price drops.

When the ETH price raises <7% the bot will sell off a portion to lower your ETH exposure to 10% of the Trade Amount

Index Settings

Allocated Percentage

This percentage of the "Total Trade Amount" that will be used for the currency.

Target Amount

The target amount is the amount the bot targets to have at the current price.

Buy Threshold

Depending on the mode, this controls when the bot executes a buy order to raise the calculated percentage.

Sell Threshold

Depending on the mode, this controls when the bot executes a sell order to lower the calculated percentage.

Stop Loss

A stop-loss will protect your investment and prevent any further losses. The stop-loss will use the price from when the bot has been activated. Its a fixed price from the start. The bot will sell all the coins and exclude the index when its breached.
