Getting Started

Once you have completed Installing HTS and setting up HTS for the first time, you can create your first Trade Bot. Before we go further, you will want to understand how the Trade Bot works. Feel free to browse around and soak up as much information as you can. When you are ready to continue learning about the Trade Bot, read on.

HTS Interface

The first step to creating a Trade Bot is to open up the HTS interface and then click on the Trade Bots menu item on the left menu panel. Next Create a New Trade Bot by clicking the plus sign +.

Creating a New Trade Bot

From there, you will be prompted to enter in general details like the Bot Name, Exchange, and Currency Pair. Go ahead and fill that in and click Add Bot. The new bot will open automatically.

General Information

In this section of the trade bot you can find information about the exchange, trade fees, open orders and profits/losses.

General Settings

In the general settings section you can set the trading account and trading pair to use. You can also name the bot and add it to a bot group (optional).

Trade Settings

In the trade settings section you can set the trade amount limits for the bot. You can also set the order type for the bot.

Now we are ready to start to adding Indicators, Safeties, and/or Insurances to our Trade Bot.

Setting up an Indicator for the Trade Bot

Now, you will most likely want to set up one or more Indicators for your Trade Bot. To do this, click on the plus sign + next to Indicators to show a list of Indicators to choose from. The green boxes above the chart signify buy signals while the red boxes signify sell signals.

Setting up a Safety for the Trade Bot

Once your Indicator(s) are set up, you may want to add in a Safety. To do this, you will click on the plus sign + next to Safeties. You will then be prompted to choose a Safety from the list. If you want to check out the Safety chart, go ahead and run a backtest. An orange signal at the top of the chart indicates that a Safety has been triggered.

Setting up an Insurance for the Trade Bot

Now, you may want to set up an Insurance as well. To do this, go ahead and click on the plus sign + next to Insurances which will then prompt you to choose an Insurance.

Activating the Trade Bot

Now that everything is configured to our liking, there is only one thing left to do: activate the bot. Simply click the Play Button to activate the bot.

And that's it! You have now successfully created a Trade Bot!
