This page covers the creation of the API key to be used with Bitget Spot, Bitget Coin Futures and Bitget USDT Futures
Obtaining the API Key
WARNING: Do NOT use the same API key that you have created for other services.
To get the API keys for your Bitget account, click on the profile icon on the top right of the Bitget main page and then Select API keys from the menu
.

Once inside, click on API Keys menu
then click on Create Api Key
.

Once the pop-up appears, make sure you:
Select API Key type - System-generated API Key
Add a name for the API key in the Note field

Add a Passphrase (API Token)

The screenshots below will show you how the settings should look like before you click on Next
.
Make sure to NOT select Read-Only


Once you click on Next then
complete the security verification and the API key is now ready to be added to TradeServer Cloud. It should look like this:
If you are running an Enterprise license, please use the IP address of your machine/server instead of the ones written in the platform.

Keep the pop-up open and move on to the next step.
Adding the API to HaasOnline TradeServer Cloud
Login to TradeServer Cloud.
Click on the icon and select
Exchange Accounts

Click on the
icon.
Select
Exchange Account
.

From the list of exchanges that we support, click on Bitget.

Select the trading type that you want to use the API with.

Enter the Account name.
From the Bitget API Management page earlier, click on Copy under API Key and paste it in the TradeServer Cloud window under Public Key
. Repeat the same for API Secret but paste it under Private Key
. Add your passphrase

Once that is done, the TEST KEYS
button should be active for you to press. Click on it.
Should the test pass, you will be able to click on Submit
to add the API key to the platform.
