This page covers the creation of the API key to be used with Bitfinex Spot

Obtaining the API Key

Do NOT use the same API key that you have created for other services.

Do NOT add IP address restrictions as your API key might not work. We use multiple IP addresses which are unfeasible to be added to the whitelist.

1. Login to Bitfinex

2. Click on API Management and then on Create New Key

3. Toggle On only the following:

   1. Get account fee information.

   2. Get historical balances entries and trade information.

   3. Get orders and statuses.

   4. Get wallet balances and addresses.

4. Enter a name for the API Key.

5. Click Generate API key

6. Go to your email that associated with the account and approve the API key by clicking on CREATE API KEY in the email itself

7. Upon clicking the button, your browser will open a new page to Bitfinex with your newly generated API key

8. Keep the new page open and login to your HaasOnline TradeServer and navigate to the Exchange Accounts page.
