Obtaining the API Key

Danger

WARNING: Do NOT use the same API key that you have created for other services.

To get the API keys for your LBank account, click on the profile icon on the top right of the LBank main page and then select My API from the menu.

Once inside, complete the Creating new API menu as indicated below.

The screenshots below will show you how the settings should look like before you click on Add.

Once you click on Add the API keys will be displayed and can be added to TradeServer. It should look like this:

Keep the pop-up open and move on to the next step.

Adding the API to HaasOnline TradeServer

Log in to TradeServer.

Click on the <img src="/assets/image-481.png" alt="" data-size="line" icon and select Exchange Accounts

  1. Click on the <img src="/assets/image-419.png" alt="" data-size="line" icon.
  2. Select Exchange Account.

From the list of exchanges that we support, click on LBank.

Select the trading type that you want to use the API with.

Repeat the steps to add the API for Leverage if you first chose Spot.

Enter the Account name.

From the LBank API Management page earlier, click on Copy under API Key and paste it in the TradeServer window under Public Key. Repeat the same for API Secret but paste it under Private Key.

Though it might not be necessary, it might be best if you make sure to check for spaces at the start and at the end of the API/Private Key after you paste them.

Once that is done, the TEST KEYS button should be active for you to press. Click on it.

Should the test pass, you will be able to click on Submit to add the API key to the platform.
